All
of our characters usually stay for a 90 minute visit for $195. This
usually is enough time, depending on the number of children, usually
with 12-18 kids we can perform either:
A Magic
Show
OR
Puppet
Storytelling
Face Painting Face Painting
Twisty Balloons Twisty Balloons
We can
also exchange any of these activities for singing and dancing (songs
like “The Hokey Pokey” and “If You’re Happy
and You Know It”) or the Hula Dancer character can lead hula
dances lessons or the Ballerina Fairy Princess can lead fairy ballet
lessons. We are happy to add additional time to our visit if you have
more guests, or want to be sure to have time for photos and special
requests like being there for singing Happy Birthday!
Description of the Magic Show:
We do an ADORABLE child-centered magic show that includes things that
children recognize, like Peanut Butter and Jelly that keep jumping
around and bright colors that change. They are all things children
can relate to and it’s developmentally appropriate and adaptable
for different age levels. The show is about 25 minutes long and is
even entertaining for the adults at your party because the kids says
such cute things and the magic is tricky enough to stump even the
adults. We perform in character the whole time, it’s really
adorable. In the end she makes a magic birthday trick for the birthday
child using everyone in the dreams for her/him, the birthday child
can be in the show if they want to be. It’s a great show for
as young as 3 because it’s colorful and kids up to about 9 enjoy
it a lot. It’s the best choice when you have a very diversely
aged audience. We suggest this when the audience is primarily over
4 years old. If you have a range of 1-14 years, magic is a great choice.
Description
of the Puppet Storytelling Show:
We do a camp-fire style puppet story. We do not bring a formal puppet
theater because it was written by a real preschool teacher and she
found the kids get more into the story and interact more if they can
see her face and the theater actually had more children jumping up
and grabbing puppets and not having as much fun. She performs with
the puppets on her lap. She tells a story about being on her way to
the birthday child’s party and having lost the magic birthday
gift, they look all over the forest, meet different animal puppets,
make lots of animal sounds, clap their hands, shake, stomp feet and
finally in the end use a magic trick to collect their dreams into
making a magic birthday gift for the birthday child. It’s really
fun and the kids interact a lot. She puts their suggestions right
into the story. It’s great for 2 years up to about 7 years.
Even kids 6-9 love it, because they use their imaginations and she’s
good at putting whatever they think of into the story and using sounds
and movements to bring it to life.
Face Painting:
Our performers are professional face painters, offering tons of choices
such as whole butterfly faces, princess crowns, and people usually
don’t know that, even as a princess, she does great Spiderman
and Batman faces, she can do all kinds of designs everyone likes…Face
painting makes for the best photos!
Balloon
twisting:
Our performers are professional balloon twisters and do one-balloon
designs so that everyone can get a turn more quickly. She can do all
the balloon animals: dogs, cats, princess crowns, hearts, but she
can also do airplanes (even though she may a be princess), she can
twist a “tail” for them to wear if they had their face
painted into a tiger or something…that is really cute! She can
make balloon crowns for the princess-y guests. By the time she’s
done, everyone looks really adorable. Balloons make great pictures.
Hula Dance/Ballet:
The Hula Dancer or the Ballerina Fairy Princess brings 12 little skirts
for the kids to borrow and music and she leads little dance lessons
really cute! **We ask you to please have a CD player for the music
which we will bring, or if we must bring one with us, please let us
know**
